At the movies for trailers for up coming 3d movies they will say ';in true 3d'; for some of them. I really doesn't mean anything because any movie in 3d at the theater is going to be polarized 3d and therefore not much difference between them. It's just a way to advertise for the movie. Instead of just say ';in 3d'; they are making sound better by saying ';in TRUE 3d';.
Really all the 3d movies at the theater are in 3d. You have different 3d companies doing the 3d for different movie studios, disney has its own 3d department and does the 3d itself, but the 3d for all the 3d companies look basically the same.
