3D Sculture True or Hox?

There is a website I read that said they will turn your face into a 3d sculpture or mask or even a pencil holder. It is called


thatsmyface(dot)com and I want to know if it is real. Has anyone just lost their money?3D Sculture True or Hox?
not quite sure as they don't give details how they do it. If you had to show up in person it would be fairly easy to do with 3D laser scanning, particularly as they like to omit hair. Not sure how they automatically convert one or two 2-D images into a 3D image. The only way I could see is brightness variations on the photo which would mean that the quality of the face would depend a lot of lighting conditions. As they want even light (flash) that's probably the case. But once you have the face as a good 3D model in the computer you can do all the stuff they advertise fairly easily.
